Over Basin

A lockable bollard may be raised to restrict access; a key-holding member will lower it on arrival. Please ensure the site is secured if you are the last to leave.

There is a slipway next to the car park for launching. Boats can also be launched from the basin bank, though this may require a cradle or slings due to the height.

Please use hovercraft in Moderation at this venue, as noise may affect our nearby neighbours.

If you’re running faster boats, please slow down when passing others to avoid accidents or swamping other boats.

Be mindful of waterborne risks — washing or sanitising hands regularly is a good idea, especially before eating.

If an incident occurs, we ask that all sailing pauses until the situation is safely under control.
